Christina completed her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan in International Studies with minors in Global Health and the Environment in 2015. She plans on finishing her Master’s in 2017. You can contact Christina for inquiries.

 

 

 

 

Coordinator II- Albert Hum

Albert graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies and Philosophy and will be completing his Master’s in Divinity in 2019 from Calvin Theological Seminary in
Grand Rapids, Michigan. You can contact Albert for chapter related questions.

New York Coordinators:

Coordinator I- Aung Chan Aye

Aung Chan Aye came to the United States in 2006 to study at Indiana University Bloomington upon receiving U.S. Department of State Scholarship. He earned a Bachelor in Political Science with a minor in Business and Political Science. He completed his Master of Accountancy at Southern Illinois University. While at school, he was actively involved in the Burmese Student Association and Ascend, a non-profit Pan-Asian organization for business professionals in North America. He also served as the treasurer at United Asian American Council of Southern Illinois University.  He is currently working as an Operation Account Analyst at General Electric in Upstate New York. He follows international and domestic politics. In his free time, he likes to go hiking and spends time with his family and his two cats.

Coordinator II- Patrick Wang 

Patrick attended Law School at Pace University in New York, which he graduated in 1997. He now an attorney at the Law Office of Patrick Wang.

Washington DC Area Coordinators:

Coordinator I- Dr. Ei Ei Hlaing

Dr. Hlaing received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Experimental Psychology, Brain and Cognitive Sciences Program, from the University of Southern Illinois at Carbondale, where she also completed a graduate certificate in Gerontology. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington. Dr. Hlaing has taught undergraduate research methods, introductory psychology, sleep & dreams, developmental psychology, and psychology of aging, and is currently teaching at Lynchburg College, VA. She has numerous presentations, including some with undergraduate students she mentored. Her main research interest is the influence of sleep problems on cognitive performance in young and older adults. Dr. Hlaing originally hails from Myanmar. Her hobbies include hiking and travelling. She loves tutoring students one-on-one and advising them on career options.
